Meet Planting The Seed's Newest Clinician: Olivia Shraibati

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on a foundation of human connection and trust. With a background in treating eating disorders, I am passionate about helping individuals address a variety of personal obstacles including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and disordered eating. My approach to therapy is best described as humanistic, compassion-focused, and culturally sensitive. I feel strongly that honoring intersectional identities and fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment are essential aspects of supporting individuals in their healing.

I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College with a focus in Health and Behavioral Medicine. Outside of private practice I work within an Intensive Outpatient Program and provide both individual and group therapy to clients struggling with binge eating disorder. I collaborate with a client's interdisciplinary team which typically include prescribers, dietitians, and medical doctors to provide integrative care.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, creating wire-wrapped jewelry, and spending time with my cat, Julian.
